A quiet dinner

Candle sputters

Flutters beyond annihilation

Clink of silver

Upon platters piled high

The man stops

Mouth half full

Looks up

She, smile half moon full

Something dangerous

Adventurous

In her eyes

On the floor

A red high heel

Foot far higher

The man clutches his fork

Nostrils flared

But a smile plays on his lips
